OpenClaw privacy policy

Who this applies to

OpenClaw is a private personal assistant used by a single person, the owner of this domain, with that person's own Google account. It is not available to anyone else, and no other person's data is collected.

Google data accessed

How the data is used

Data is used only to carry out the owner's own requests. It is processed on the owner's personal computer by a language model that runs locally on that computer; it is not sent to any third-party AI service. Replies, which may quote information found in Gmail, Calendar, or Tasks, are delivered to the owner as private messages through Discord.

Sharing, selling, and advertising

Google user data is not sold, not shared with other parties, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models. OpenClaw's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and retention

Access credentials and any conversation history are stored only on the owner's computer. The owner can revoke OpenClaw's access to the Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and can delete stored data by removing it from that computer.
